"I realise now what 'base layer' meant but I'm still pleased with my leggings. They're not suitable for wearing without a long top to cover your bottom though. It's great for under a dress with boots instead. I was hoping more for trousers that wasn't too wide in the leg but flattering around the bottom area and not too hugging. I'm only 5' in height (150cm), so the 3/4 length reaches my ankles and I'm satisfied with that."
